Something to inspire…

04 Dec

  1. The process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, esp. to do something creative:  “flashes of inspiration”.

I had an extraordinary day yesterday.  Words just poured out of me and I made unexpected progress with my writing.  I feel like I am tying together all of my loose ends.  Places in my story that I had skipped over because I haven’t been able to effectively transition from one scene to the next are now complete.  It is such a rush to make progress on something I am so invested in.  I feel like I can really pull this together and accomplish what I set out to do.

My husband and I discuss my fiction world in great depth.  He inspires me each and every day with his unique perspective.  If I have an idea but can’t quite mold it he never fails to shed new light on the subject matter.  He is actually the one who helped me come up with my title ‘Wings of Hope’. I believe it falls into a YA category.  It’s filled with action, adventure, suspense, and of course the vulnerability that goes along with dealing with emotions such as love and trust.

I believe I will soon be ready to post a sample of my story for viewing and I sincerely hope it will lead to feedback that will continue to keep me focused on my goal.
